Fundraising to purshace medical Instrument

We offers social help to the poorest population of the Dominican Republic.

Medical help is just as important as education. We are building a two-story building to serve better the community, the first floor is dedicated to Arisco family, the Therapy Clinic room, and the second space for the Daycare sponsored by the Students Agency Travel, Interact Travel, the second floor the medical clinic. We are the Only institution who offer medical assistance in all of La Piedra and try to help all 5000 people of the community.

Although we have some medications, we are still in need of certain medical equipment, so we can help all those in need. We hope we can get enough money for two hospital beds, oxygen masks and other medical equipment, so our doctors would be able to move to the new facility by the end of summer. This Center also gives those children who are less fortunate, and live in aluminium houses, a better opportunity to experience a stable childhood.

316 children from the age of 4 months to 11 years old are occupied with classes, for example Sports, Maths and languages, especially English, every day from Monday to Friday. Through the education program they receive two warm meals per day so none of them have to go home hungry.

This gives parents, especially young mothers (often younger then 15 years old) the chance to educate themselves or work during the time their kids are occupied. Even though the focus is on children, there is still a chance to help the adults (job finding, medical assistance, violence and abuse). And 265 families home visit. With your support we can give the people in La Piedra a better and healthier future.
